Sci-Fi London 2022 - Trance (48 Hour Film Challenge)
I teamed once again with Stop Mo Studios to create a film for the Sci-Fi London 48-Hour Film Challenge in September 2022 and this time, the film had to fit a sci-fi theme.
The theme for the challenge was 'Trance' and we were given a line of dialogue to include in the film. The film told the story of a scientist trying to learn more about a strange dragon-like creature, and as he researches it, he starts to understand the creature more and more.
We each took a role of the film (one person focused on backgrounds and props, one on the scientist and one on the creature). I designed and animated the scientist in Toon Boom Harmony and to make sure the film was completed in time, I focused on animating the key frames for each shot. I also used After Effects and Premiere Pro for post production and editing.
The film was completed in time and submitted before the deadline successfully.
