Walking Home (Short Film)
I created this short film about hometowns and my connection to Bristol. The film uses a character rigged and animated in Moho, edited into live action scenes of the city.
This character was built and tested over a week and has been designed with a full turnaround to cover every shot of the film.
Rig Highlights:
-
The head turn allows for a full front to quarter back rotation on both sides, using Actions. The elements for the hair are kept asymmetrical and are able to rotate with the turn.
-
The body uses Actions to turn from front view to quarter back view.
-
The legs use an IK system. A handle on the ankles allow the foot to be lifted with the legs to follow.
-
Hand switch to allow for a variety of hand shapes.
-
Handles are added on the shoulders and crotch to allow for fixes, so there are no limitations to the animation when animators are using the rig.

The final film was premiered during the Swindon Arts Fringe Festival in June 2026.
